EMEA Region Adds ISO 9001 Certifications

OIA Global's offices in Poznań, Budapest, and Stuttgart recently achieved ISO 9001 certification.

26 August 2024

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is one of the oldest non-governmental organizations, enabling trade and cooperation between different types of people and companies since 1946. The ISO is a global agency comprised of the national standards bodies of >150 countries, with one body representing each country. Businesses use these standards to demonstrate their ability to consistently provide products and services that meet the stated customer and regulatory requirements. You can learn more about ISO standards here.

ISO 9001 is the most popular standard in the ISO 9000 series and it is the only one that an organization can certify. ISO 9001 was first published in 1987, with the current version being released in September 2015. Importantly, ISO 9001:2015 provides a globally recognized framework for organizations to structure and improve their Quality Management System (QMS).

At OIA, we believe that ISO certification will elevate a QMS that’s already robust, leading to even greater network efficiencies, improved customer experiences, and enhanced quality overall. These certifications recognize the EMEA region’s preexisting QMS, which is currently operational in several branches and audited by external parties annually.
